My Voice... Your Voice

...
Amel has tagged me with a very interesting meme started by Mel of Monday Morning Power.

Why do we blog? I'm betting if you asked a million bloggers you'd get a million answers, but they'd all come down to one thing - we blog to have a voice. This meme is about adding your voice to the list of voices Mel is creating.

I'm tagging the following people:
1. Shastrix
2. Twilight
3. Genie
4. Blur Ting
5. Shan

If you haven't been tagged, but still want to join, please copy from **Start Copy Here** through **End Copy Here** and follow the rules.

Now spread the word!

This meme is based on a recent post that was conducted asking the question “Why do you Blog?” and the rewrite “Why do you Blog? - Reworked.” The purpose of this meme is to tell our tales by spreading the reasons that we blog to as many sites as possible. We get to explain ourselves, direct traffic to our site and highlight our most important, most representative or most relevant post in an SEO favorable format. This will be a positive experience for everyone who wants to get involved. This will enable you to create a short advertisement for your site that will be spread across the blogesphere; a growing directory of blogs. This is an open meme. You do not have to be tagged to join in. All you have to do is follow the rules. Please let me know when you have added your site by leaving a comment on “Complete List” with a link to your post. This will insure an up-to-date list, giving you even greater distribution. You then have the option of copying the growing list back to your site.

Write a brief introduction to the meme.

I'm Holly from Mama Pajama. I am a stay-at-home mom to my two year old son, Cameron. He is such a joy in our lives. I just stumbled across blogging after watching a television show. I wish I had found it sooner, as it has been so much fun meeting people all across the globe. It's my own place to share about my family, interests, likes, dislikes, etc. I love that I've found my own little circle of blog buddies that will read the stuff I have to say....as mundane or silly as it might be! LOL It's fun leaving others comments, and knowing that something I post or comment just might make someone smile that day. I'm already having a hard time turning off my computer at night, so I'm hoping to keep this blogging addiction under control. My favorite post so far is Lucky Girl.

I'm Kathleen of Invisible Keepsakes.Well, I blog because if I don't, I'll go mad and get very hard to live with. I need a tableau for my creative endeavours. I write poetry. 3. Michelle,
Very nice job. You have been added to my master list.

This is what my meme is all about. Without it I would never have known that you even existed. Now, hopefully, many more will also know about your passion and your writing.

  4. Thanks for the tag, Michelle.

I'm always a little wary of these because astrology bloggers tend to be out on a limb in the blogosphere, in our own little world, as it were! But a little mixing and mingling won't go amiss - I'll probably use it for my Saturday post. :-)

  5. Gasp! You are so incredibly considerate, and way to Power Blog! I'll work on this tonight!

So, your Texas friend explained our seasons? All two of them?

I've always imagined Australia must be like Texas, never thought about Africa being like it though. Makes sense that it would be. I hope I get to see Africa one day. And I don't think I'd ever get over the shock of snow! I get excited over a cool breeze!

Your site, Michelle, is one of the very few, which I found commendable. It is wisely written,
sincere, warm and up to the point.
I enjoy associating myself with such friends. I shall read your blog as often as I can.
    Congratulations.

    Thank you. :-)

I think your take on astrology is fun enough to be interesting to the average person, yet still detailed enough to be interesting to other astrologers. And yes, I do mean "other astrologers" I know you don't see yourself that way, but by passion for your subject, devotion to research and detail, I most certainly consider you to be an astrologer. :-)

You goot go north for a holiday one winter and jump up and down in real snow. It's worth it! :-D

    Amel
Ahh, that's a lovely one. Thank you! :-)

I am truly honoured to think you will be amongst my readers and I am thrilled to meet someone else who understands that the small miracles are often the greatest miracles of all. :-)

I was just looking at your links. My goodness, you are accomplished!

but the thing I was most amazed to read was your place of origen. My grandmother's family lived in Istanbul for about four generations. I have been doing family tree reserach on them this past month. So that really was an added "small miracle" to meet someone as interesting as yourself on my blog and then discover you are from a part of the world I would dearly love to visit some day. I will be smiling all afternoon now. :-)

  9. It's funny before this meme started I had posed this question to Josie Two Shoes

  10. To Michelle,
If you haven't visited Istanbul, I really recommend it to you. Let me know when you'll travel and I can
perhaps come up with some good suggestions.
I travel seldom now to Istanbul, though I have relatives and friends there. Dealing with the promotion of the books, making a film and old age take up all my time. I did immense amount of travelling in my young days. That
    compensates.
Take care and may your life be filled with good small miracles always. (This wish is extended to all the members of this site.)
Here is a recent small and very stunning, but as you said, a very
    great miracle:
I and my mother went to the Turkish
Consulate recently to renew ID papers and passports etc. We took 1000 swedish crowns with us and that's a lot of money. We planned to have a fish lunch on our return
to home, in a popular restaurant, which costs 140 crowns for two.
Well , 1000 crowns was hardly enough at the Consulate. OK, we
had to skip the fish lunch in town and have lunch at home. When we changed busses in town, we found
on the street 140 crowns. How's that for a miracle. We went had our
    fish lunch.
Miracles do happen. It is God who decides when and why and how much.
My book has thirty very stunning miracles. The keep happening and in the second edition, I'll add more.
