Busy Doing Nothing

...

I've been sitting here trying to think what to write about, but lately days seem to vanish on "busy doing nothing".

I am busy on one "something" - I'm plotting and building my Peace Globe Day speech and surprise.

But beyond that life has been dull here and it seems I'm not the only one. Usually I get at least 15 emails a day, but over this last weekend I had 3. Three? :-\

So... I'm guessing I'm not the only one busy doing nothing?

  6. Cat on the prowl eh?....sometimes doing nothing itself is an achievement...in Hindu scriptures they call it 'Stithapargnya'...you are just in the present doing nothing. Its Good, believe me!

  7. Hi Anndi

I'm so glad I met you - an extra bonus to Peace Globe day? ;-)

ps... the surprise is now up. :-)

    Hi Derik
How have you been? I'm so behind on blog hopping... :-\

We need more of that way of thinking in Western culture - too much emphasis on busy-busy-busy = something to be admired and bragged about.

  8. It is ironic what can happen. Two weeks after you wrote about doing nothing because you only received 3 emails, you met a new penpal who over taxed your mind and your time, and then made demands on you, since he was either ignorant of your health or just plain lacked empathy. So now you cherish the dull time, since you need to recover.
