I bought myself a new CD with birthday money - TUNESHIP by a Scottish band I love - Daimh.
That's pronounced"dive" for those who want to know ;-)
Here they are talking about their new album. I can't wait to listen to it! I got to hear them live for my birthday a few years back and ended up buying two CDs that night. :-D
Oh, I do like this music! I'm listening now. It has mood. Once, some Scottish players came to town, soldiers, I think, and my mother, always full of adventure, took us children to listen.
It was actually the 7th and I had ice cream and cheesecake later. :-D
There's this place (a town ten miles away along the coast) that makes their own ice creams... candied orange and walnut, mango, strawberry, salt caramel. I'm addicted to the mango. ;-P
Daimh's music is brilliant. Their accents... lol I sent a video of them in concert to an American friend. He wrote back asking what language they were speaking. Ummm... English, really. LOL LOL
Cool post !
ReplyDeleteThank you!
ReplyDeleteTheir music is great, a blend of tranditional Celtic/Gaelic and modern.
I hope you had a lovely, lovely birthday, and I hope you're blessed with all the good gifts - peace, love, happiness.
ReplyDeleteI love birthdays! Any cake?
