Spring Flowers

...
We went for a bit of a drive yesterday. On the way home we stopped In Forres to photograph the Spring Crocus flowers in the park. They have deep yellow ones at the far end of town, but only purple and white in the park.

It was almost evening, so the light was dim and the colours are a bit faded.

The park in Forres is the prettiest park, I think. It looks good in every season. :-)

o my, beautiful! When I first glanced at the top photo I thought it was low light sparkling on water. Humm. Maybe I should plant blue & white crocus. They sure are beautiful.

Hi Ann
Yes, it's a really beautiful park. :-)

Daisy
I've taken photos of their flower beds in Summer that have been just amazing... plus photos of those park trees covered in ice in winter... equally lovely.

The crocus flowers kind of gamble with their lives. Some years they come up too soon and then it snows again and that kills them. :-( They're the first flowers up, along with the snowdrops.
