I found photos I'd forgotten about today. I took these on the 10th of May last year. Kind of funny I should remember them almost exactly one year later! To see the detail on the first two you'll need to click on them to enlarge.

They are quite intricate. Neat photos, Michelle!
ReplyDeleteGlad you found those pictures. I like them all, especially the knot work below the main section of the cross on the second one.
ReplyDeleteWOW...AMAZING crosses. THANKS for sharing, M! :-D
ReplyDeletethings call, remind....
ReplyDeletehope you're well! these are fascinating crosses...
The interlocking designs fascinate me.

Doing okay, thanks. :-) <3
They're lovely. Celtic knots have an intrigue of their own, combined with the cross, they're fascinating. What caught my eye though, is the tiny little cross with its poppy at the foot of the last cross. Someone remembered.
ReplyDeleteMuch love...
Tint
ReplyDeleteYeah, I never noticed it on the day, but now that poppy just leaps out, doesn't it?
I like the tradition of placing a small stone on a grave to say, "I was here. I remembered."
