...We had a lovely Christmas, I hope you all did too. :-)
I took a few photos on Christmas eve and Christmas day. Here's the Christmas Eve ones first...

The tree looked so pretty I took another photo from a different angle.

I iced the cake myself this year... with the help of my hubby! :-) Who'd have guessed he'd be good with icing? I HATE icing, pastry and most things baked. It's one area of cooking I really don't enjoy. This year he rolled out the marzipan and icing and helped me put them on the cake, but I did the extra surprise for him - the decorations. ;-)

Like the cake says...
Merry Christmas everyone!
...
Hope you had a wonderful Christmas, and all the happiness for the New Year!! Keep writing!!!
ReplyDeleteOoh! The tree looks even prettier here and that cake is spectacular! I desperately wish I had some Christmas cake here *cries* Soon... soon...
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the tree, too! And esp. the cake. My eyes popped out from their sockets (almost!) when I saw the pic and I start to drool HE HE HE HE...I'd LOVE to try that cake!!! It looks PERFECT! :-D
ReplyDeleteThank you Jacqui :-)
ReplyDeleteTint and Amel
I cheated. LOL I bought a plain fruit cake from the bakery (you get them really cheap that way) and then iced it myself. ;-)
