The last few days have been very cold, below freezing, misty and frosty. Today the temperature has swung from a low of -13.8 C to a "high" of -7 C! There's been no snow, but the frost is just amazing. Everything is covered in sparkling twinkly ice crystals. We had to go grocery shopping and I took some photos along the way.
The first photo stop was the park in Forres. You might want to compare these pics to the ones I took of the park in Summer and Spring. :-)
The first two are of trees in the park.

It looks like a fantasy! If it weren't so cold, it would be heavenly! I've never ever seen anything like that with mine own eyes. It's hard for me to believe it could really happen. The eighth photo is especially impressive. Amazing that those trees can stand the weight of all that ice! But, I suppose, it's adapt or die up there!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the spider web, of course! Amazing!
Brrrrr ... but BEAUTIFUL too and I enjoyed the 'comparison' links as well as you lovely new header ;--)
ReplyDeleteHugs and blessings,
Wow, so beautiful there, Michelle. It is hard to believe that is really all frost and not snow!
ReplyDeleteHope you and your family have a very happy New Year! :D
Oh God, these photos are amazing. It hasn't snowed this much in Istanbul yet and i think we'll celebrate new year without any snow :(
ReplyDeleteBy the way, i really enjoyed the spider web and it's freezed right?
Hugs
